Quick haul - dollar store, etc.

I went to the dollar store and i found some really cute things. This dollar store wasn't really a dollar store it just had discounted items even though it's called a dollar store. So I got a couple of nails things. The first thing i got was another L.A. Colors Nailpolish in Nectar, this is the second one I've ever gotten, the first one was copper. They are pretty good for being really cheap. I got the nectar one for only a dollar, it is really cute and I really recommend it.

Next I got fake nails, now I am more of a nail polish girl, but I wanted to try these because they were only $2, i don't remember brand because I lost the label, but if you go to the dollar store you'll find some cheap nails. These did not come with glue, so i picked up a pack that came with 2 for only $1.75. They are KISS brand, and they are pretty good, but dry in like 5 seconds, so you have to go fast.

Nails- they came with alot extra just in case 1 didn't fit your nail. So basically they came with several sizes.

The next 2 things are more nail polishes, the first thing was $1 and it is the L.A. Colors Art Deco polish(which is for like making designs), and I've been wanting one of these for a while so I just got it in black. The next thing I didn't buy, my aunt gave it to me, she thought it was a regular purple polish, but it is the China Glaze Crackle polish in Fault line, so she gave it to me, and I was so excited to receive this.

Now on to makeup, I only got 1 makeup item. It is the L.A. Colors Baked Eyeshadows in BBE471 Praline, but on the website they call it galaxy, and has a completely different number, but the exact colors. weird right. The colors are amazing, and it was only a little over $2.

 The next 2 items I got are scented items. I got them both from Bath and Body Works, I only buy mini items(i don't know why)The first thing I got was a body splash in Cherry Blossom, I got this a while ago, but I wasn't sure if I put it in a post. At first it smelled like soap, but when i smelt it more, the better it smelled. It was $5 because it's the mini one, then I got another Sweet Pea Body lotion because I ran out of my old one. And this was also $5 because I got the mini one.

The next 2 things were from Hot Topic. I just got some GIR flip flops, and some candy,(but it's cute candy)

Oh and also from the dollar store I got these socks for a dollar, and they are so cute I had to get them.

Get ready for the beach!! - Makeup

1. A lip stain, if you want a flush of color on your lips, but don't want to keep reapplying, than get one of these. These ones are from Covergirl.
2. Get a powder sunblock to be able to put over your makeup, and get extra sun protection. This one is from Bare Minerals.
3. Bronzer - if you just want to look really glowy, than apply a nice bronzer, this may fade in the water, but if your just relaxing in the sand, than you're good.
4.Sunblock - You really need sunblock for your face,(and body), this one is from Estee Lauder
5. Lip balm is very important. These are from EOS, you probably heard or have them. I have the summer fruit one, and the lemon drop one, they tastes amazing and will make your lips really moisturized.
6. If you want a glossy look, lip gloss is not the answer, just get Korres lip butter, it will moisturize your lips, while leaving a glossy look.
7. Waterproof mascara is wonderful. It keeps your lashes looking great, and keeps the smudged blackness of your face. This one is the one by one waterproof mascara.
8. Tinted moisturizer is a lot better to choose than foundation. It will moisturize your skin while covering imperfections.

Get ready for the beach!! - What to bring in your tote

Going to the beach, the pool, anywhere else that you may need these items, well then keep on reading to see what to take, what to wear on your body and face. My next couple of posts will be all about the beach, I know it may be a little early, but hey you know that early bird quote thing. This post is all about what to put in your beach tote.

Grab a cute tote bag and fill it with these items to take to the beach.



1. Sunscreen - do not forget! You will burn like crazy if you don't bring.

2. Snacks - the heat, and running/swimming around will make you hungry, either grab a bite to eat, or just bring snack. I recommend granola bars, trail mix, or anything that does not need refrigerating and is still healthy. You could also take a cooler and fill it with things for your whole family or group of friends.

3.Water bottle - running around with all that water will make you thirsty or make you forget to drink water, so bring a cute water bottle and fill it with ice water.


4. Towel - bring a cute beach towel to lay on to get a nice tan.


5. Magazine/book - if you get bored easily than bring something to read.



6. Lotion - your skin may get dry and flaky from all that sun, and you can smell nice.

7. Phone/ipod - you can play games on your phone, or listen to music, just in case you get really bored.




8. Sunglasses- bring a cute pair to block the sun.




9. Comb - make sure to bring a comb to get any tangles out.


10. hair ties/bobby pins - You never know when you need to put up your hair




11. Camera -The beach is a beautiful place, take pictures to remember your day.

This week I just went for a simple nail, I painted them TMI from Chinagalze, it's been in my collection for a while so I don't really remember when or where I got it.

Beauty wishlist - May 8

Here is just a couple beauty products that I hope to buy within the rest of the year if not sooner


1. The first thing I really want to get as soon as I can is the Remington T-Studio Ceramic Pearl Professional Curling wand. I just got the curlers and I was really want to get the whole line. I heard some 
great things about it and it is only $21.99 at target.



2. This one a lot of people have and I think the color is really pretty. It is Mac's lipstick in Hue. And as you may know, it is $14.50.









3. I've been wanting this for a long time. I've never really looked into it though. It is the TOO FACED natural eye palette. The colors are gorgeous, and with all it has in it, I think it is a great price at $35.00.





4. I really love Victoria's Secret beauty rush lip-gloss. I haven't bought any from their newest collection yet. I hope to get them all. They are $7 each.





5. I really want the Coastal Scents mirage palette, they are a selection of beautiful colors in it. I think it is about $26.00.





6. I just figured out that are target has a OPI section, before that the only place I knew that sold them was salons. I really hope to buy some cute summer colors like the ones below.

7. I've wanted the harajuku lovers perfumes for a LONG time, I just now convinced my self to get them in rollerball form from target for about $15, to me that is super cheap to be able to get that  many scents. They may be really small, but I think it's worth it.


 
8. This doesn't really count as one, but I really want to try a new brand of product, so if you  know an uncommon brand, than leave it in a comment.

Haul, etc.

So today we went to target, and of course since theres at least 6 isles full of just makeup, I had to buy some. I only got a few things for me and a couple of things for my mom for mothers day. Now the first two thing I got for me was inspired by Bethany(macbarbie07). After watching her Selena Gomez Who says Tutorial, I had to buy those curlers.

They are Remington T-Studio heated curlers, and they are $35, but on sale for $30.

Now also inspired by Bethany, was the foundation she used to always talk about, I saw it and decided to get it.

It is the Covergirtl natureluxe foundation, and it has SPF 10 in it. I think it was about $11.

The last things I got for myself were from elf, of course are target has a whole row devoted to them, I had to get something. I just got 2 brushes,(one from studio line $3, and one from regular $1), and a small eyeshadow for only $1.

Now for my mother, I had procrastinated in getting a mothers day gift, something to show her I care, if you can't buy your mother anything, or anybody else, then you can just give her a homemade card or breakfast or anything really. So she picked out some things, and she supposed to act surprised tomorrow :)

The first couple of things she picked out were from physicians formula.

 The mineral wear flawless complexion kit for $20, it comes with a blush, matte finishing veil, and a face powder.

And Blair(juicystar07) talked about these, so I pointed them out and she liked it. It is custom eye enhancer, gel liners for brown eyes. I think it was $10.

Next we looked at Maybelline, we ended up getting two eyestudio single eyeshadow. I don't remember the price though.

The one on the left is carbon frost, and on the left is khaki craze.

The last thing was from Rimmel London. It was the Lash Accelerator in black.

Then we decided to get a bite at the little target restaurant thing, (the eating place in the store) I just got a drink and a pretzel. Then we went to see Thor, it was amazing!! I like movies like that, but the 3d wasn't that good. Here's a little tip, if you go, stay until the end of the credits to see a little 45 second hidden scene.
